I Survived!

I made it through surgery! Anesthesia scares me. But, I'm alive!

My oxygen levels during surgery and the way I was breathing right after I woke up concerned my doctor. She thinks I might have sleep apnea. So I have to do a sleep study after I heal? It was kind of scary to hear. I don't have the typical symptoms. Matt has never heard me do any crazy things like gasping for air, snoring like crazy, etc. But, apparently there is more than one kind of sleep apnea. So I guess we'll see! Hopefully I don't have to use one of those crazy machines!

Even though I've been drugged and sleeping most of the time I have LOVED having my sister and Gran here. I wish they could stay for the next week!

They've been pampering me and loving on me and I won't lie. It's wonderful.

I was not quite prepared for the pain. I talked to a few other people and they said it wasn't that bad. So either I'm a wimp or they lied. I'm going to go with they were drugged and forgot, haha.

Which reminds me, it's time for another pain pill! Oxycodone is an amazing drug!

Here's a cute picture of my sister and Lady sleeping together. They're so cute!

She got me the cutest necklace for my birthday but right now I can't figure out how to upload that picture. I love it though!

I think we're doing a late birthday celebration tonight which is also fun. My sister cooked us something delicious in the crock pot and they got me a cake. They really are the best!

And the most amazing thing is despite the pain from surgery when I eat I have no right side pain! It's amazing. Also I was saddened to realized I forgot to ask the surgeon to save my stone! I wanted to see it so bad. It was about the size of a quarter! Too bad I can't show it off!

LOL about saving your stone. Sorry for the pain but I'm glad you are on the mend are being well cared-for! And hey, at least at this rate you should be ready to stuff yourself silly at Christmas!

Hmm, yeah I left out the pain part after surgery. I could hardly even move for two days afterward... even trying to sit up from a laying down position was hard for me. But it gets better after a week I swear! Then you'll be like, what surgery?! Glad you are being well cared for and everything went well!!! Hope you're getting lots of rest :)
