i asked Ashley a question on her blog yesterday. where do you see yourself in 5 years? mainly because i've been asking myself that question a lot lately. probably more than i did when i was 25. i recently turned 30 and a lot of my friends have also.
this of course puts me on a course for memory lane
how did i go from this girl
to this girl
how is that my friends and i are old enough to be married and own houses and have babies. aren't we still 21?
if you asked me when i was 25 where i would be in 5 years i would have probably said:
working in marine science, specifically with sea turtles
living somewhere on the coast of virginia
i would have at least one dog
i would NOT have said that i'd be
married
with two dogs
living in south carolina
working in an office
BUT this life is perfect for where i am right now. it fits. every day a new piece gets introduced that let's me know i'm following the right path.
so where do i see myself 5 years from now at 35!
matt and i will still be living in south carolina
we will hopefully own a home
we will still have 2 dogs, maybe 3
we will still not have children
all of this makes me think about how fast time flies by. and makes me think of this song. i love alan jackson.
so where do you see yourself in 5 years???

I love that song!! Strangely enough, I have no earthly idea where I see myself in five years. I wish I knew though! :)
I wonder ALL the time how I am old enough to be someone's wife and have friends having babies!! It's insane, lol
