just one of those days

today has been one of 'those' days. you know where at times you feel like pulling your hair out. at the end of it though, it was just what i needed. 

matt and i got an email wednesday night that they would be coming through for a pre-walk through today. basically getting an idea of what they would need to do to turn around the home. 

i stayed home today to clean/organize/fix up a few things. we scheduled for between 3 and 4. i took the dogs to the park and relaxed for about an hour. we met a new friend moon and got all wet and dirty, haha. 

i come home at 4:30 and hear a knock on the door. yeah, they forgot to do my walk through. so our walk through consisted of them telling me i should replace the drip pans in the stove and that they'll charge me $50 extra to do a pet clean and a power/turbo clean or something in addition to the normal steam clean for the carpets. 

i was a little ticked at first. i could have been working today and getting things checked off my list! and then i took a deep breath and realized i needed today. after all the craziness with the house i needed a few hours to just run around and act a fool with the dogs at the park. it ended up being just what I needed. 

I think today was a little gift from God. A little pick me up in the middle of what has been some crazy times.

so what if i will have twice the work to get done on monday. today was worth every minute of doggie fun. 

and who knows it was probably a blessing in disguise they didn't do a real walk through anyway. now we have longer to fix a few things i was scared for them to see!

now it's time to relax and enjoy the weekend. hope you all have a great one too! :)
