I find for...I think you've got the right idea! I find for me, having an expectation for each day (even the night before) helps me stay on track. If I plan a workout for an evening that morning? The chances are I'll back out. Same with meal planning--if I have limited options (whatever 5 meals I've "planned" for the week) I'm able to curve my cravings to just those foods.
